how long it has been?????

7 month? 8 month?.... hmmm.... I just can't remember how long have I abandoned my blog.. I even forgot my password to sign into my blog that i have to retrieve my password by 'forgot password?' button... Then, how do i start after a long time since last post?

A lot of thing happened to me since my last post... Meet a lot of people, experience more reality of life, learn new thing and so on... It's a wonderful journey...

Now I just started my new job at my hometown. No more hectic city lifestyle and most important, no more traffic jammed to ofice... It's really nice to drive along village road and enjoy it beautiful view...

My carreer now... still in IT field, but more to support and less programming now... At least there are time for me to not thinking about the 'lines of words' that giving me 'trouble' most of the time... ;p But still, I will improve my skill and knowledge in programming...

East or Eastern?

I’m really sure that many of us ever heard or watched adverts to promote our tourism. But the issues that draw my attention are, how those adverts referring Sabah and Sarawak as East Malaysia. But why don’t they use Eastern Malaysia? On my understanding, these two words bring very different meaning.

Eastern Malaysia means the location of states/territory within Malaysia. East Malaysia means a separate country which has different government and policy. Even in Bahasa Melayu, the words such as Korea Selatan (South Korea) and selatan Korea (southern Korea) will bring different meaning.

Maybe some tourist thought there are two Malaysia which is West Malaysia and East Malaysia. This is just my opinion... and confused sometimes...

Pst: There is only one country named Malaysia...

After nearly two years living in PV6, I'm finally have to move out from there. Our new rented house is located in Wangsa Maju and it just take 15 minutes to my office where I'm working now. It is a nice place which is quiet and calm. So from now on, no more 'bang'ing sound at the morning from a construction site in the neighbourhood like in PV6. ;p

There is so many experience while I'm living in PV6, the tale of sweet and bitter memories, success and failure, friendship and rivalry, courage and depress, tolerance and anger and so many experiences. Those experience will make me not to forget this place.

I have learn a lot of things here, to be more sensible, more attantive, more patience and more responsible for whatever I do and peoples around me.

Yeah.... Today is my last day for OJT.

I started my 3 months on job training(ojt) in a company in Gombak as permenant employee on 1st February. I'm lucky because this company is near to my hostel and there is easy to get there by public transport. the cost is very cheap as well. just 1ringgit per day. so i prefer to go to my office by bus even i have own transport.

what i have done for 3 month in this company is make my own self study to improve my knowledge. it is because this company cannot start the project due to clients request. thier reason.. - economic downturn and they have to rearrange thier budget. so, i do not experienced real project environment yet.

not much happened in my ojt but there is still an interesting experience. and now, i'm going to improve my knowledge for incoming projects.

Futile pursuit of happiness

Do you realize that many of us, consciously or not turned our lives into quest for happiness? We may jump from job to job even spouse to spouse, looking for fulfillment.

But the quests always end in failure that leads to the unhappiness! (often happened to me).
But we keep searching, maybe because of our continuing unhappiness.

The other reason is we always look for happiness through materialism. That is because we confuse pleasure with happiness.

Pleasure is sensual feeling, like owning a nice car or etc.
Happiness is about spiritual which means it is already within our self.

So I wonder why we keep on searching for something that we already have.
We have all the tools we need to be happy! For me it’s all about ‘how’, not ‘what’ for happiness!

After 3 semester, the most waited time has come. HOLIDAY!!! I can see all my friends in my batch are very excited for this holiday, and i understand why!

Week before final exam is the most hard time for us! Too many assignments must be submit!
many of us turned to someone else because of stress! :-)

However they manage to complete all the task and prepare for the exam in stress!!! :-)
But i sure it will be a sweet memory for many of us in the future!

Weeks of anger & 'suffer'!!!!!

Weeks before final exam is the most difficult time for me and my fellow classmate.

6 assignments and 2 presentations in a week! But finally i managed to complete all my assignments and presentations successfully!

Many of my friends get 'emotional unstable' syndrom at the same time(week)! Many of them easy to get angry just for a really small problem! Some of them sulking on me without i know the reason!

But it seem like everything is going to setttle down this week! (I guess so)!!!

But now, the most important is my FINAL EXAM!!!

i don't care for other problem anymore!

Because of that I really forget today is my birthday, until my "kakak ipar" sent an sms said'Happy Birthday"!

Spell It Right

Last saturday, i was attracted to a tv program which Spell It Right by NST!

This program requires all participants to spell english words given by jury to them!

At the beginning, I don't interest to the program because i think they will given easy word to spell!

But then I was very surprise. How dare the Jury gives difficult word to spell to the primary school students?

Many words that given to them i have not heard before such 'Exonariad', 'inflamatory' and many other hard word spelling that I not remember!

I think if I participate in that program, I will become among the first to eliminated!

But these kids really impress me!

Why don't Cosmopoint arrange this such program for its student?

I wonder what will happen to thier spelling, including me!!! hi3!!!

maybe 'fault' can be spell to other word(F*****) that was my experience with my friend long time ago!!! Ha3!!

BAMBANGAN PICKLES

Last week, I was attracted by a smell from my hostel dining table. The smell is so good that makes me interest about it and go to the table to find out what was that. Then I saw some of my housemate from Sabah enjoy their meal and offer me to join them. I took a chair and sit near the table.

Suddenly my friends who enjoy his dinner ask me “Do you want to try this?” (Pointing his finger at a container on the table)

Now I know where the smell is come from.

Then I ask him “What was that?”

“Bambangan pickle” he said. Then he explains the pickles are made from a fruit called bambangan in Sabah mix with salt and sugar.

He asks me to try but I refuse. But then I accept to taste it because I can’t ‘refuse’ the pickle smell.

Then, WOW. The pickle taste good. It tastes sour and salty with little bitter.

I like it. But I like it more in its smell than its tastes. Hihihi!!! :-)

ABOUT MY NAME - ZARIZA

Do you know the meaning of my name? Don’t bother yourself to find it. Coz I myself don’t know the meaning! I was tried so many times to find the meaning of my name but failed in every tries!

So, I start my personal research to gather information about my name as many as I can. (Of course I have deep interest about my name!)

After surfing the Net, finally I found my name in some languages especially in Eastern Europe (such Russia) and some other language such as Hebrew and Latin. But I think it appear more often in Russian language!

I also learn how to write my name in Russian alphabet as you can see below.

З А Р И З А (Russian script) *if I’m not wrong! :-)

And the pronunciation is exactly same as you pronounce it in Malay. Or maybe sometimes sound like ‘zaritza’! *(If I’m not wrong again) that b’coz I’m not a Russian!!! hihihi... :-)

Although many people say that my name is suited for women, I don’t care. B’coz my name is gifted to me by my parents and I like it.

WHY? B’coz every where I go, my name will be always unique to many peoples!

So you should proud with your name as well!!! IT’S OUR PARENTS FIRST GIFT TO US….

PAINFUL CHOICE

This is my story!!!

Early this week, I was in dilemma. An opportunity that I’m waits for so long finally come to me. I’m so happy when I get noticed about the opportunity and really don’t want to miss it.

BUT!!!
Then I realize that the opportunity has come in a wrong time!

BECAUSE!
If take that opportunity, I probably hurt the feeling of someone that close to me!

SO
I have to reconsider about the chance for that person close to me!

BUT
It is hard for me to make my decision!
Every time I have decided my decision, I will change my mind again!

FINALLY
MY FINAL DECISION!!!

I decide to just ignore the opportunity to preserve the good relation between me and person that close to me!

I think that is the BEST DECISION but PAINFUL!
Honestly I feel sad for my own decision!

BUT I HAVE LEARNED SOMETHING

We must accept that sometimes our decision is not only for our self because we have to consider many things before making decision! Sometimes we have keep make decision even it not on our side!!!

Public transportation in Kuala Lumpur

The transportation system of Kuala Lumpur City is a cooperation of complex systems of infrastructure, including an integrated rail network. Kuala Lumpur has one of the longest automated driverless metro system, the Putra Kelana Jaya Line.

This rail network also intergrated by connection of buses and taxi's netwrok for the convinience of public transport users in Kuala Lumpur.

Despite all the efforts to promote the usage of public transportation, the average usage of public transport in the city is only not more than 16% in 2006, among the lowest in Asia.

This fact make me wonder why the percentage of public transportation in Kuala Lumpur is that low. Is that because peoples in Kuala Lumpur don't like to use this services? Or is that something wrong in the system of public transportation services itself?
